| felt being taking advantage of. this hostel theoretically co-existis with a restaurant/bar. but it just makes you feel like you`re sleeping on the back room of a pub.
they couldn`t care less for the common kitchen: broken pans, stoves without gas, no tools, no dry towels. (at a moment I went to ask in reception for a dry towel, the guy went in and out of the restaurant kitchen and said "no" - there is not a single dry towel?! - "no, they are cleaning the kitchen now. not now". feels like they do this to make it "easier" for you to order your food with them.
to solve the towel matter I took the bath towel from the previous guest of the room, that was left behind. towel that you`ll have to pay extra $20 to rent.
talking about extras, breakfast: a cup of weak coffee, concentrated cup of juice, toasts and butter for an other $20/day.
internet wifi: it doesn`t reach the rooms, so you have to use it at the pub area, so you have to minimaly dress up, after all, it`s a restaurant. | ||

| Modern, clean facilities. Good location close to most hiking trails. Disappointed that there was no breakfast included. Hostel itself was good, but I prefer a smaller, more intimate hostel, not the young hotel-like atmosphere as was the case here. | ||

| I had a reservation for two people. They somehow thought it was only for one person even though I confirmed my reservation via email 24hours prior. My boyfriend and I were forced to stay in separate rooms. The first room they tried to put my boyfriend in was overbooked. The reception people were less than friendly and not very apologetic. They definitely need a better system to keep track of their reservations. I was glad I only had to stay there one night...my tent was much more welcoming! | ||
