The Eco-Park Pension in Szarvaskő, in the heart of the Bükk National Park with its idyllic beauty lies in the deep untouched valley basin surrounded by trees and mountains. Our Pension, which is 6 kilometres from Eger and is near the Brook Eger and the ruins of the Castle of Szarvaskő, is a perfect choice for nature lovers, who are interested in the sub alpine climate, diverse flora, plant reserves and special minerals.
In its 13 rooms the Pension provides comfortable and healthy accommodation for 35 people. The cars can be parked in the guarded parking lot. If you come by means of public transport, the bus stop and the railway station are only a five minutes’ walk.
The Reception and the Drink Bar are open non-stop. At the reception desk our guest can be informed about the timetables, hiking facilities, sights and opening hours. We provide broadband wireless internet access everywhere in the Park.
In the safely fenced-off Eco-Park the children can play in a wooden playground or in the sand pit, they can play table-tennis and swinging balls. Wheelchair users and parents with baby carriages can reach anything in our area easily.
The litter is collected selectively in our district. For the guests tired with the day-long trip a sauna, which is made of natural materials, is available. By appointment our guests can enjoy a massage as well. During the day you can rent a bike o ask for a tour guide.
The Adventure Park will give memorable moments for children and grown-ups alike. At 7 metres, at the tree stratums there are 10 fields with 50-metre slides at the end. There are 5 climbing facilities, they are of different levels, and there is a 12-metre high climbing wall which has a negative leaning part. The safety of the participants is assured by the qualified coordinators and the security systems. Please note that the Adventure Park is not available all year long so it is useful to learn about the opening times before arrival. The Park was designed and constructed without cutting down a tree and without driving a nail in a living trunk.
The Eco-Park proudly wears the European Eco-Label as well as the Green Hotel Prize awarded by the Hungarian Hotel Alliance.
