Kona Tau is located one block from the main avenue and has beautiful views of Hanga Roa and maunga terevaka.

Kona Tau has double bed rooms, single rooms, twin beds rooms, triple rooms and 4 bedded rooms. Each room has a private bathroom and hot water. Our service includes transfer from the aiport to the hostel and back, and we welcome all the guests at the airport with flower necklaces. In the hostel there is free 24 hours WiFi.

Kona Tau also provides its guests with the use of the kitchen the 24 hrs, parking and BBQ area.

Excellent place to stay all around. Manager even grilled a fish dinner for me on my final night. Lucked out with a 4 bedroom dorm to myself for all 4 nights during high season.

Picking us at the airport was really a solid sign that hospitality was about to be part of our stay at Kona Tau. Everyone working there was 101% friendly towards us until the end. Our room was totally tidy and cleaned everyday; the staff helped us with some tips on the island, the ambient is really familiar (and the animals really do the trick by boosting up this already friendly environment) and the island itself is a dream come true. Kona Tau is highly recommended!
