Sugar Shack is spectacularly situated on a sand dune on Eastern Beach, literally within spitting distance of the beach, yet only a few minutes' walk from restaurants, pubs, clubs and supermarkets. It is within easy walking distance of the inter-city bus station. The backpackers is in the original life-savers' building, which has a sun deck, big comfy TV area, lookout tower, and clean, comfy, rustic accommodation.
