not easy to find for people arriving without a car-we came by train and not well signposted unless you know its part of Trolltun complex! We had booked into dorm accomodation but as very busy with groups were given upgraded accom which was great.

The room was very small and dark, and too expensive. The most expensive of all our trip. The breakfast is ok, but if we were going to the safari we didn't have it, because it starts at 8, and this is not right. It should be start at 7.

Maten var kjempegod. Papir sengetøy var hendig men ikke så comfortabel. Litt støvnig på tømmerbjelkenene......

The welcome and care went beyond the average. I have particuarly appreciated the personal touch of the staff. Great reward after coming by foot from the station in search of the hostel and going back to the station next day proved to be a very nice and friendly walk.

Surprise de trouver un si bel endroit en début de séjour. Nous n'étions pas prêts à fréquenter une auberge de jeunesse aussi luxueuse et aussi confortable.

Location poorly indicated from train station. You have to walk to the Tourist Office, app. 750 m, to see the first sign. From there it's another 1,6 km uphill (steep!).

Good hostel in a fine location. Ideal for exploring the Dovre plateau or getting down to the northern fjords. Town/village centre is a bit dull but then you don't come here for that. Just get out into the valleys and hills and enjoy
