The town of Dahlen is situated on the southern edge of the "Dahlener Heide" conservation area. The charming landscape is characterized by moraines, small stream valleys, idyllic wooded areas, open areas with mineral soil and man-made ponds. Dahlen is a typical rural town with intensive agriculture and forestry, trades and business. The youth hostel is in a quiet location on the outskirts of town.
People of 27 years or over pay a surcharge of €3 per night.
Surcharge for single and twin rooms p. p. p. n. (subject to availability): Single: €10 Twin: €4 (doesn’t apply to group guides);
Rebate for children: Up to 2 years free of charge, 3 – 13 years 30% rebate;
Group rebate: For a group of 20 paying customers another one totally free (accommodation, sheets and meals at the YH).
