Availability Calendar

Set in the green and peaceful surrounding of Degnemose Bog, the hostel is 4km from the sights of Copenhagen's city centre. There are 238 beds in both family and multi-bed rooms and each room has a separate key-card. Facilities include internet access, TV and courtyard garden. Opening times are 7 am to 10 am during high season, and 7 am to 8 pm during low season. Please check-in before 5pm.
 
Please be aware of that sleeping bags are not allowed. You have to bring your own bed linen or you can rent it for dk.kr. 49,- pr. pers.

Opening times

Opening times (daily/weekly):Between 7 am and 8 pm in highseason and from 7 am to 6 pm in low season. Please check-in between 3 pm and 5 pm. Good hostel, with a few remarks. There has to be more than one power socket in a room with 12 beds. Almost everyone has a phone to charge. There were no lockers in the room, only in the basement for a cost.

Breakfast was very expensive - for a family of 4 it was about £24. I felt that I was discouraged from self catering by having to rent a catering pack, so I felt pushed into buying breakfast - this was especially expensive as my 2 teenage children only had one bread roll with a filling and you were also banned from making luch from the food available.

Die Gästeküche und v.a. auch der dazugehörige Essraum sind im Keller, fensterlos, absolut deprimierend. Alle Wände sind mit Verbotsschilderen vollgehängt. Die JH ist total weit ausserhalb gelegen, als Familie (ohne Auto) verbraucht man enorm viel Geld für Bustickets.

Our reception was really welcoming and got the stay off to a great start. The lounge was really comfortable and the kids (6+8) were amazed to be offered the chance to play on a PS2 and a Wii. The kitchen facilities was super too. Nice park nearby, easy by bus or bike to the centre and nice to see an area outside the main tourist sights. Easy to drive in to the hostel.

I cancelled my reservation because it was extremely far from the city. I need my refund for the reservation and the charges for membership which I never received, please.

Dear Aura. Thank you for your comment on our site. I have to inform you that you have paid a 5% booking fee to hihostel.com. This fee you pay to hihostel.com because they make the booking for you. You have to contact hihostel.com if you want your fee of dkk. 7,25 back from them. You have not paid anything to us for your reservation and you have not either paid for any membership card here. So it must be in another hostel that you have paid for a membership card. We hope you found another hostel closer to the city and enjoyed Copenhagen. Best Regards Angela
