Collelongo is situated in a beautiful and unpolluted environment but it also offers the opportunity to visit very ancient archaeological sites from old stone age (400.000 years ago) to the time of Marsi (V-III Century b.C.), a folk of mercenary soldiers allied of Rome. In Collelongo you can also spend your free time in a very intersting way participating in the events and meetings organized by the Municipality , particularly in Palazzo Botticelli where there are also the rich Town Library and the Archaeological Civic Museum.
