| boy at the front desk night shift leaves much to love, he could never solve a problem and his attitude was in bad taste. | ||

| This is definitely a top tier hostel. Everything you want: individual lockers in the room, shared baths in the room, individual outlets and reading lamps by every bed, high speed internet access and multiple computers, tv room, rooftop bar with astounding view of the grand cathedral, fun atmosphere with great common spaces. Every night people would gather at the deck off the kitchen or the rooftop bar to socialize before going out.
Without a doubt, this is a top quality hostel!!!
The staff is amazinglyu firendly.
I recommend going to major attractions on your own. Much cheaper than ones offered through tour desk at the hostel. | ||

¡Volveremos! ¡Y lo recomendamos! | ||

| My friend and I stayed at Mundo Joven Catedral for 10 days. The service was not terrible, but we did have some problems, mostly due to the communication with one female attendant. I cannot judge all of the service there as bad. This one employee was terrible, but there were several others that made our stay rather decent. That said, you should know that that building makes for a noisy stay. Our bedroom faced the interior of the building, an atrium. We could hear all the noise from the restaurant below. At night we heard every knock on the door. It's not that people are inconsiderate, but rather that the shape of the building does not help the noise issue. After our stay there, we left a few days and came back to Mexico City. We stayed at Mexico City Hostel, which is around the corner. We loved it and would go back there any time. The staff was very nice to us even before we were actual clients. The rates are cheaper, and the service is far superior. | ||
