| I was there for 5 nights but had to change my pillow for a 2nd during that time.
I have stayed in a lot of hostels in France recently, I have found the price really varies, some free and others charge between 1 and 3 euros for 2 hours.
Being on my own I found other evening entertainment very limited.

| Location is a long way from town if you have to walk back after 8 pm or leave before 7:30 am. 5 pm check-in should be moved up to 3 pm. Breakfast was fine, and staff was very helpful. | ||

| Internet connection was poor and you had to pay for it. Despite the website saying "very close to the city center", you have to take the bus for about 15 minutes to get there. Also, the bus is very unpredictable and ends very early in the evening. | ||

| I strongly recommend anyone to stay in this Youth Hostel. Great value for money. | ||

| Awesome hostel. Great people working there. Very clean common areas. Walk just a few feet to the bus stop which takes you downtown to Chamonix quickly. Evening meals at the hostel were great. Rent your skis at the hostel - much cheaper than in town and no long lines to wait in (the shops downtown get very busy so long waits). | ||

| The worst HI Hostel I've stayed at. The breakfast was minimal, the set up of the hosel is awkward, and the staff were ok. | ||

| Staff were highly inefficient and not customer friendly. It's not that they were not friendly types, but that they were chaotic and stressed. This resulted in unhelpful and slow service. That said, towards the end of week their were two young staff members and they were very easy to deal with.
The Hostel is located 15 mins walk from town, which is too long to walk in skis. The buses are infrequent (sometimes 1 per hour) and the last bus to town is 7pm, and last bus from town is 8pm. This means limited opportunity for apres ski or simply to check out this nice town.
Accommodation was simple but clean. Limited storage in rooms and only one power plug!!!!
Kitchen was very well run it would seem.

| The staff was very friendly and helped us with our needs even at 10 in the night. The location of the hostel is excellent, with the bus stop right next to the entrance. There was some problem in the shower as there was no cold water and we had to make do with super steamy hot water.... | ||
