Plebiscito YH is in the hearth of the town, not far from the best points of interest. Along Via Vittorio Emanuele are Churches, ancient buildings, the Roman Theatre with its Museum, the houses of Vincenzo Bellini and Giovanni Verga, and the Dome. | One of the staff just had a bad day - not the way to address and welcome guests. Parking in the area is questionable - on the street - did not look a safe area although we were told it was. Car weas still there next morning, but considered not to visit the hostel in the future. | ||

| We make reservation for the hostel it was overbooking and they send us to an apartment in a very strange place with a very poor breakfast and dirty bulding and now key to safe your room... | ||

| Very friendly staff, especially Marcello who took my heavy suitcase up the stairs into the room with me and remembered my name every time he saw me, and this other guy whose name I did not catch. This hostel was so easy to find! It was the easiest to find actually! The beds are great and I love how each person has a little bedside table. The showers could use a little hook or basket/tray for soap and shampoo bottles, though. The shower doors also need a little repair as water seeps out and more restocking of toilet paper would be good. Overall it was still a very good hostel! | ||

| A great place to stay if visiting Mt. Etna is your destination. Unbelievable low cost with a simple yet wholesome breakfast included. Clean linen and a very cheerful atmosphere. | ||

| Excellent service with airy rooms. Welcoming staff, plenty of common room space for chilling out. A little outside the town centre, but staying at this hostel gives you the chance to wander along some of Catania's back streets and sample local coffee, wine and snacks. | ||
