Ashanti rocks again - this time in Green Point. With absolutely brand-new everything this sleek and stylish renovated building is perfectly positioned for the Waterfront, Stadium, beaches and city centre. Still with the renowned service and professionalism of Ashanti Gardens, Green Point offers a quieter stay - albeit with a pool, lounge and tv room and all the other amenities one would expect for a top-notch stay.
All private rooms have individual safes, plasma screen televisions and awesome Cape Town prints. The dorms are equipped with fluffy white duvets, individual reading lights and safes as well as the special Ashanti-style lockers.

Directions
| Parking: | We have off-street parking directly in front of the building. |
| Airport: | When driving from the airport, just continue along the N2 towards Cape Town city centre. Please make sure you follow directions to Cape Town as we have had newcomers go in the wrong direction. Continue on the N2 for about 10 minutes and as you come up to the mountain keep right and continue towards the city - following the signs. Keep right on the N2 following signs to the Waterfront. At the 3rd set of traffic lights turn right into Somerset Road. Continue for approximately 2 kms until you turn left into Richmond Road which intersects with Antrim Road. Turn right into Antrim Road and Ashanti Green Point is immediately on your left. |

| Great location - close to public transport, restaurants and supermarkets. The beach promenade is a great place to watch awesome sunsets and is only a few minutes away on foot as well as the Waterfront, the prime tourist spot in Cape Town. | ||

| The staff is very good, Stanley is funny and cool. About the location everything but Waterfront is far from this hostel, but I don't know about any closer hostels. You might want to rent a car (you can park safely in front of Ashanti) or pay taxis to go anywhere since public transportation in SA is hard, very hard! The area nearby is relatively safe nevertheless.
