| I was disappointed in the general condition of the hostel. There seems to have been considerable deterioration since my visit in 2009. The sofas and chairs are in poor shape and the first floor shower is really sad. I was also sorry to see that the evening meal service has been discontinued but perhaps that is understandable given the proximity of the town centre and lower hostel patronage in general. I fear for the future of hostelling generally. | ||
