Set close to the centre of this traditional oyster harbour, the hostel is located in a natural protected area, on a beach... This unique setting is a good base for exploring the MONT SAINT MICHEL, ST MALO, DINAN, the emerauld coast, the Chausey Islands and the Anglo-Normand Islands. Activities range from sailing to sail-kart, hiking and bird watching in the nearby ornithological reserve. Accommodation is in 1-8 bedded rooms and facilities include kitchen and meal service. | This hostel was outstandingly clean with really friendly and helpful staff.
The hostel was adjacent to the sea with lovely views across the sea to Mont St Michelle.
My only criticism would be that the hostel is in a very rural location with all the major tourist attractions some distance away, which my small son found frustrating.
On the positive side, there are some lovely sandy beaches on the other side of the village so if you enjoy sitting in the sun and reading, this is a great location. | ||

| There was not enough information of how isolated and far it was. So, if you don't have a car it could be very difficult to arrive Cancale or any other village. Anyway the place has a wonderful view of the sea | ||

| Perhaps the nicest hostel that I have ever stayed at. Perhaps also the most beautiful hostel location. It is a close decision between Cancale and Fort Worden, Washington. | ||
