This hostel is located close to the Perito Moreno Glaciar, one of the 7 marvellous things in the world. From here you will have the chance to go trekking in the area and on the glaciar. Look for our free shuttle at bus terminal station!

Located on El Calafate's main street, the hostel is run by the Feldmans, backed by their 18 years of experience in hostels in Patagonia. The services we offer besides accommodation (tours, meals, transportation, etc) ensure you'll get superior quality and a pleasant vacation. This hostel was inaugurated by the Nation's Secretary of Tourism and all the local authorities in April 2004, a true honor which makes us proud. For our guests, this means the peace of mind of knowing we have been recognized by the highest local and national authorities. We are also members of the internationally prestigious Hostelling International network. Hostel del Glaciar Libertador features both shared and private rooms, to make your stay more comfortable.
