Hostel Inn Buenos Aires offers you a unique hostelling experience. Be inspired with one of HI's 'get away from it all' hostels - a hostel with cool atmosphere and nice friendly staff! This hostel is one of the HI network of hostels in Argentina, and one of nine hostels in the Buenos Aires area. The Hostel Inn Buenos Aires is an old two-storey mansion with an outdoors terrace to chill out and have a BBQ. The hostel preserves original front, ceilings, floors and marble stairs that had been recycled combining the antique and modern designs.
Hostel Inn Buenos Aires is located in the heart of San Telmo, the oldest neighbourhood in Buenos Aires, close to the most popular market: "Plaza Dorrego" where you'll find tango dancers dancing through the cobble-stoned streets and antique shops and cafés in the 'plaza'. The hostel is also walking-distance from Puerto Madero, an area fast becoming the business and commerical area of Buenos Aires where you'll find an excellant selection of restaurants along the river. Travel out a few minutes by bus to the "La Boca" neighbourhood, which is related to immigration and football - full of "conventillos" (colourful houses), which reveal the past life of immigrants, as well as the main road called "Caminito".
Facilities include: Free internet access and WI-FI 24hrs, Satellital TV and DVD room, no curfew, linen included, room maid service, individual lockers in every room, kitchen for guests, laundry service, luggage store. Breakfast is included in the rate and is on offer between 8 and 10am.
NOTE: It is very important that you reconfirm your booking (latest 24hrs before your arrival, otherwise your reservation might be cancelled.

| We mentioned a leaking watertank to the staff which caused no water from shower, crane and toilet. No action was taken, so the responsiveness of staff was poor. One of our towles was dirty. | ||

| Your Web site says: Quiet hostell: NO NO! on busy street, some rooms run out of reception / bar area. Top floors might be more quiet. Staff messed up booking for quiet top room. Locker broke; not repaired 3 days after reporting. | ||

| i arrived at the hostal after a long tiresome trip from the usa, so my impression might be somewhat influenced by my state. i only stayed at hostel overnight and then went to Tierra del fuego and patagonia. In general, the impression i have is that this hostel was sub standard compared to the other non-hi hostels i have been in since. From what other travelers have told me, i plan to stay at the hi- hostal suites inn palermo when i return and spend some time in buenas aires in a few weeks. | ||
