Located right in the center of Bucharest our hostel is a pleasant, clean and friendly house waiting for you. Only few minutes walking distance from all public transportation we offer two single rooms and four sharing rooms - with six or eight beds. Our staff is well trained, speaking English, French, Italian and Spanish and is more than happy to provide all necessary information you might need while visiting Bucharest. The following facilities are available for you 24 hours: bathrooms, hot showers, free internet access, free wireless (if you bring your laptop), free luggage storage , free linen and blankets, Satellite TV, ironing, laundry machine, kitchen fully equipped and reception services.

| Staff were awesome. Free washing machine (small but still does the job). We were in a twin room which was pretty small but it was still pretty good. Be careful of mosquitos. | ||

| We had a really great stay at the Happy Hostel, the staff were exceptionally friendly; they certainly live up to their name! | ||

| 1 Freaking hot there.
2 beds and lines -> terrible
3 We had to take out our shoes in the entrance and use their "slippers" which are used by everybody. Th--> unnecessary We couldn't go to our rooms wearing shoes.
Forth: I think that all the doors in this place are made for hobbits. I hit my head strongly three times, and I'm not that tall.
5 The internet worked only in the small reception (and there were no more than 2 sofas to sit). ->5 mins to charge FB page
6 They should ban people with more than 30 years old to stay there, as it is done in a variety of hostel around the world. We couldn't move inside the room to arrange our stuff during the night because an old woman was always fighting with us. ->hostel is different than hotel
Overwall: I think I prefer sleeping in the streets than staying in this place.
Regarding the name, there's nothing happy there. This should be named "sad hostel"

| First night there was a huge party till late late night, but nights after was silence. I booked actually bed in 8beds room, but I get 4beds room, which was great. The people there were very friendly, helpful. | ||

| My only problem with this hostel is that I chose it because it had the female dorm option (where the other YHI hostel in Bucharest did not). I was put into a co-ed room. I showed them the "not co-ed" mention on my confirmation printout and they put me in my own room. The staff were really fun and accommodating. I certainly recommend this hostel. | ||
