At the Jacques Brel Hostel, located at the heart of Brussels, all shops and public transport can be found right on your doorstop. The main tourist attractions welcome you with open arms. Inside the hostel, there is a well-equipped bar, table tennis and pleasant patio area all entirely at your disposal.

A great place to say, there are renovations happening at the minute so breakfast was a bit difficult. On small request, could the hostel look at changing the pillows, ours were so bad we could barley move our necks the next morning! I really had a terrible night because of the bad matrass. Rooms are not really well cleaned and also the toilets on the corridor. Easy to find from Botanique metro. Very spacious 6-bed room for ladies. I had no problems with the ensuite shower and the shared toilet cubicles for the floor. This was a very good hostel experience. The location is really close to everything and in a safe neighbourhood. The breakfast was great, as was the atmosphere. The directions on how to get to the hostel need to be better. Walk 500 m from Botanique is not very descriptive. We had an awesome stay at the hostel though, once we found it! Thanks! 4 euros for a locker (which needs to be bought), in my opinion - is very expensive. Rather they could rent it out for a cheaper price?? Hostel response: Hello, Thank you for your comment. The hostel is good and well-connected, I liked the breakfast and staff were really nice. I have 2 points for improvement; to add more electricity outlets to the rooms (the outlet at the shower area is connected to the light, so I had to keep the light switched on while charging my mobile), secondly the laugage room should be accessible by elevator, some people carry heavy bags :) other than that everything was great ... I'm really happy that I have stayed there It's really was very good friendly staff welcoming and very helpful I really enjoyed my stay and I'm really willing to come back soon :) just I'd like to note that there is only one power outlet in each room so I suggest that if they could add more power outlets or provide a one to multi power outlet in the reception :) Hostel response: hello thanks for your notes... 100 % !!! as i wrote earlier, we should organise 1 AC wall outlet per bed well, all the best within the HI community cheers phil

Nico hostel with great people. Only the beds were a bit hard so that caused some backproblems.
