At the Jacques Brel Youth Hostel, located in the heart of Brussels, you’ll find a friendly, international atmosphere with shops and public transport right on your doorstop.

Inside the hostel there is a fully equipped kitchen, Wi-Fi, Internet access, bar, library, laundry and games, and outside there is a patio area where you can enjoy a Belgian beer from the bar and chat to fellow travellers. There’s also an organic breakfast served everyone morning which is included in the price.

Jacques Brel hostel also regularly plays host to many events including concerts, exhibitions and theme nights.

Please note the hostel is NOT located at the Jacques Brel metro stop.

Bus:	Bus lines 61 (alight at Botanique), 65 and 66 (alight at Madou). Tram lines 92 and 94 (alight at Botanique).
Metro:	From the midi station to the hostel Jacques-Brel : At the midi station take the metro line 2 or 6 on direction Simonis Elisabeth and stop at the Botanique station. To get to the hostel Jacques Brel from the Botanique metro station : Exit the Metro at the Royal Street / Botanique Boulevard, tram 92/94 exit. Cross theBotanique boulevard and take the first street on your left, rue de la sablonnière. The hostel is at the top of the street.

Hi there, It was a great place but the beds are way too hard. It was hard to go to sleep at night. Hostel response: Hello Claudia ! we are sorry to read that you experienced some difficulties to sleep at night but as we are part of Hostelling International network, we follow the standards of Youth Hostels around the world and work with the same infrastructures. It was a great location, it was just confusing to get to - the train station was confusing. The room was large with a great set up. Very good hostel Hostel response: Hello Grace ! we are happy that you enjoyed your stay here! indeed Brussels counts 3 main train stations and it might get confusing to get here but we are located at an easy reach by Tram, Metro and Buses from them. By far this is one of the best hostels I stayed in for my 5 city Europe trip. Rooms are clean and have their own showers. Has a cafeteria with free breakfast. You can't beat that. Es un muy buen hostel, nos cruzamos con un combinado de pre-adolecentes que estaban bastante alzados pero no paso a mayores.. comodo y bien atendido. Es verdad que alojamos tambien grupos, y hace que la posada puede ser muy animada! pero en julio y agosto, solo alojamos personas que viajan sin estar en gran grupos y hace que la encuentras son cada vez mas ricas :)Le deseamos bonitos descubrimientos a través de la red HI ! A good location for being able to walk to the downtown, and hang out. Good breakfast.
