The Mitte Hostel (meaning “The Centre” in German) is located in a historical house (1659) in the centre of Brno at 11 Panská Street. We have 21 beds in a small, stylish building with authentical atmosphere.
We offer accommodation in rooms named after people and events that left an unforgettable literary, artistic, scientific or political legacy in our region: Austerlitz, Mucha, Tugendhat, Janáček, Gödel, Kundera. You can choose from a single to six-bed room on second to fifth floors.
You can sit and refresh in our little café on the first floor while watching the buzz in Brno centre through the window. When walking from us you can reach a shop in one minute, a cinema in two minutes, a pub in three minutes, the main square in four minutes, the railway station in five minutes or a park in six minutes…
TOURS: We offer guided tours of the city which included the historic centre and possibly tourist attractions in the environs but we would like to show you our town from a different point of view and take you to the places which are not included in the guidebooks (big magic of this city is hidden in the peripheral part and places around). You can choose from four basic routes or the itinerary can be arranged exactly to your requirements. Our tours have personal and friendly atmosphere Every tour is for max. 10 people, price is 10 Eur per person – including 1 FREE DRINK and takes about 3 hours.

Free entrance: Monday - Saturday: 4.00 p.m. – 6.00 a.m. Sunday: without limitation Access is possible by turning from the small town ring-road on the Šilingrovo náměstí square through the Biskupská – Zelný trh – Radnická – Panská streets. Departure from the Panská street through the Dominikánská street and Šilingrovo náměstí square to small ring-road. Parking in the town centre is only allowed in paid car parks (Zelný trh, Radnická, Dominikánské nám., Veselá...) |

| Airport: | Bus line no. 76 goes every 30 minutes from Brno Airport to the centre with the stop near the main railway station. At night between 11.00 p.m. and 5.00 a.m. the airport is serviced by bus no. 89 with the interval of 30 to 60 minutes. The journey lasts approx. 20 minutes (ticket for CZK 25). | I really enjoyed my stay in hostel Mitte! The locations is ideal, right in the city center, nearby some nice restaurants, bars, touristic high lights, and a shopping mall. The rooms are bigger and better than I normally expect from a hostel. Especially the common room was cosy and felt like coming home (not those big rooms with white light and mass production, but a small little kitchen where you could take your plates right from the closets)!
For Brno (or Czech Republic in general), the price of this hostel is maybe a bit too high. But they compensate it in their friendliness and nice atmosphere! Hostel response: | ||
