| Very glad we came, staff were very helpful and even gave us a room to ourselves as it was quiet. Building was in the same shocking state all HKYHA properties seem to be in, but it didn't spoil a very nice two days we had there relaxing, going for walks and cooking. | ||

| We came in the middle of the night (3 a.m.), we sent them an email that we would come in at night. But when we arrived, the gate was LOCKED! wtf man! So we had to sleep on outside on the street, until they open a 7 a.m. ! So do not pick this hostel if you come in late or to early. The Gate is only open from 7am to 10-11 am. and then again 4 pm. to 11 pm. !!
And this is a members hostel, so you have to be a member to get the price that it says on this website! we didn't know, so we had to bay extra to stay the nights we stayed.
Do not go here just because it is cheap. if you want to get away from the city, it's good for 2-3 day, but not more!

| All other things are very good except the building itself...its pretty old and since near a lake and thick forest ..mosquitos are on higher side. Rooms size is bit tiny..good for singles but difficult for families. The warden is a nice person and very active and helpful...may GOD bless him !
Its far away from main city but in the website if the train map (route) and bus connectivity (75K & 20C) is given it will help hostelers to reach the place quickly.

| I loved the friendly and very comfortable services provided by Bradbury Jockey Club. It will be an understatement if I say I got the right value for my money, as the experience of my stay in Hong Kong was made much more meaningful with so little time to see in a bustling and busy city of Hong Kong. | ||

| The hostel is too old. It needs renovation. The hall needs to install air-conditioner. | ||

| I did not stay even one night at this hostel because of the treatmeent by a worker before I can even check in at 4 pm. After not getting anyone on the phone, I went to the hostel at 4 pm & rang the bell. A man from inside walked slowly to me and sounded irritated that I rang the bell. He said they open @ 4. I asked him what time did he think it was? He looked at his watch and said "I am opening the gate". I asked how come no one picks up the phone so I can ask them a question and what kind of business doesn't pick up the phone? He said "that's how it is". I left and called HI to ask that I not have to pay for the night that I pre-registered for. If I can't get anyone until 4 pm, then I suppose no one will open the gate for me when I want to come in after 11 pm so I might end up on the street to sleep. A person named Chris helped me on the phone and said there will be no charges. I hope that is true. | ||

| The hostel is a great place to stay if you want to stay out of central HK but still have easy access by public transport. The staff were very helpful and really made me feel at home. | ||
