Youth Hostel BLEDEC is completely renovated and has been continuing a 70-year-old tradition of youth tourism at Bled. It is situated in a peaceful part of town. A 5-minute walk brings you to the lake. The walking path takes you to the castle (within less than 10 minutes). The capacity of the youth hostel Bledec is 13 rooms with 55 beds, mostly 3,4 or 5 beds per unit, with shower and WC, TV, a restaurant, bar, common room with the internet, parking.

| Sure enjoyed our stay at this hostel! The room was nice and quiet, a big plus compared, for example, to the airport pension where we stayed the night we left Slovenia -- a party going on right below our window until 3 a.m.! -- which reminds us how nice it is that HI hostels have quiet hours which are enforced. Thank you! I would say however that the food in the restaurant at the hostel was pretty ordinary, but good enough for tired travelers not wanting to go far the first night in town. | ||

| Very budget. Bit creepy. Doesn't feel like a hostel, feels more like a place elderly people would stay at. WiFi didn't work very well. Didn't have an iron which I thought was crraaaazzzzzyyyyy. | ||

| The seat had come off the toilet, and wasn't replaced during my stay even though I was promised it would be. Some of the seat cushions in the dining room had stuffing coming out. The mushroom pasta arrived full of bacon - unsuitable for jews, muslims, veg*ns and anyone who cares about authentic italian cooking | ||

| This hostel is good and clean. But they didin't tell me that the price doesn't include breakfast. Only the notice board in front of the hostel says 4 euro at the bottom of the board. I had to pay 4 euro. In Kranska Gora, breakfast include. I should have bee more careful. | ||
