Hostel Details

The Old School Bunkhouse has a central location for fell and valley walks and attractions, such as the Herriot Way, Aysgarth Falls (1.5 miles), Bolton Castle (3 miles), Wharfedale, Wensleydale and Swaledale. Nearby historic market towns include Hawes (home of Wensleydale Cheese), Richmond and Leyburn. The bunkhouse has been recently refurbished to a high standard, with a large, attractive open-plan lounge and dining area, a modern kitchen, washing and drying room. The Street Head Inn, owned by the same proprietors, lies 150 meters away & provides a warm welcome and varied lunch and evening menu. Breakfast can be arranged by prior arrangement and is served at the Inn.

A none members supplement of £3 per person per night will be charged on arrival for those guests not in possession of a valid YHA England & Wales or equivalent IYHF/ Hostelling International membership card ***
