Located on the west coast of Norway, Bergen is regarded as the gateway to the Fjords. The Bergen YMCA hostel provides a fantastic central base for tourists wishing to explore the medieval port city. This Norwegian hostel also boasts a large roof terrace with amazing views of the harbour. Surrounded by the world famous Norwegian Fjords, Bergen is an unforgetable city filled with character and culture. The Bergen YMCA hostel welcomes travellers all year round.

Guests can check in 24/7 but please provide the hostel with notice in advance.

The hostel is only one minute from the famous Fish Market, the old town of “Bryggen” and the funicular up Mount Fløyen. The hostel is within easy reach of shops, restaurants, attractions and public transportation (buses, ferries and trains).

Our rooms in the middle of the city are bright and spacious with en-suite facilities and kitchenettes. We offer single, double, 4 and 6 bedded rooms. Budget dorms are available during summer. Other facilities include an Internet Cafe, WiFi, TV lounge, common rooms and fully equipped guest kitchen.
