Customer Reviews Beijing - Peking Youth Hostel

| We stayed in a double bed room, found it a little bit expensive compared to other hostels in China.
You cannot ask for a better location. And a lot of food options for expats. There is a lake nearby as well, for an evening walk.

| I arrived at night, so the location was hard to find. The staff was friendly, kind, knowledgeable about the area I wanted to get to, and they also spoke great English. | ||

| The cash only policy is a problem, and the inability to pay in full on-line like I intended caused me to draw down on my cash rather than charge my Visa like I intended. | ||

| I am very pleased with the services provided and the staff were very helpful and went out of their way to ensure that my husband and I were picked up by another youth hostel's staff from the railway station in Xian. I will definitely stay at this hostel when I come to Beijing again. | ||

| Lovely hostel! The flowers, the cafe and the nice staff really made the stay pleasant. At the end of this month (december 2012) the subway station will open, so then it is really close to all kinds of public transport.
The only thing that can be improved are the hard beds. | ||

| Definetly the best HI hostel I'v been to.
All was great. Professional services, friendly staff, especially Xie who always seemed to go not one but two extra steps to help people.
Possible improvements would be to add a small kitchenette for hot water and a little fridge. An other possitive (seasonal) change would be to increase public area heating in winter. Adding a door between the lounging area and the caffe would probably reduce drafts and loss of heat as doors open and close at both ends.
