The hostel is located in elegant St Alban. The building that houses the hostel is an original Basle family home by the St Alban Canal. In the past, this canal provided a connection between Basle's factories and the river Rhine. The medieval old town, the town centre and a wide variety of galleries and museums are all within easy reach of the hostel. Accommodation is in 1-8 - bedded rooms, and the hostel offers souvenirs, TV, internet access, washing facilities and meals.

| The room was like a cell - bare concrete walls with minimilism taken to the extreme. Breakfast very mediocre. Doesn't compare at all to German youth hostels in terms of value for money. | ||

| We check-in around 13:30 on Feb. 11, there were a blond, short-hair lady and a gentleman received us. The gentleman was very friendly and nice. However, when we ask a question, the lady answered short and clear in cold way. To refuse kind of service is fine to any reasonable people, but, the attitude should be more polite and warm. | ||

| Very Good! However, it is not easy to find here very late at night. This is becasue here is behind the paper museum beside very narrow road. If more street sign is prepared, it will be much better. | ||

| In contrast to many other hostels it is prohibited to cook here. So, the travelling could become more expensive. However the overall atmosphere is very frendly and the quality of life in this hostel is outstanding. | ||

| The staff is not client orientated and has no manners. The hostel is way to expensive for the quality you get. The hostel does not comply with the hosteling rules for children under 3 years old. I advise everyone not to go there. Bad experience. | ||
