Center-Rambles Youth Hostel is located in the city centre, just 100 meters from 'las Ramblas', 5 minutes from 'Plaza Catalunya', and 10 minutes from the beach (closest metros to the hostel: L3 - Liceu station, or Plaza Catalunya: L1, L3). It enables travellers to enjoy the charms of Barcelona from the very heart of the city. Inaugurated in 2002, the hostel has 200 beds in share dorms of 3,4,5,6,8 and 10 beds and offers free internet access, free breakfast, free sheets, cable TV, laundry, air conditioning, central heating, luggage storage, safe boxes, lockers in the rooms, towels rental, travel library, free city maps, board games, Barcelona information, activities, etc. It´s open 24 hours every day all year.
Center-Rambles is a member of Hostelling International, the youth hostels net of the Generalitat de Catalunya, and Reaj. If you decide to come to a cosmopolitan city like Barcelona, you will enjoy an incredible cultural and natural heritage, such as museums ( Picasso, Barcelona FC, Macba, Miro, Tapies, …), monuments (Gaudi’s art, Gothic area), parks (Parc Güell, Ciutadella…), theatres, beaches, Olympic areas, enjoy many activities such as bike tours, scuba diving, excursions or simply wonder about the fantastic streets or the famous Ramblas.
The youth hostel is located in the old part of town and allows for an easy connection to the airport as well as the train and bus stations. | I got bitten by bed bugs two nights in a row, had an allergic reaction and 44 bites in all. When I told the staff about it, they refused to move me rooms or refund me, and only gave me new sheets to sleep on a different bed in the same infested room when I insisted. I will NEVER be going back to that hostel, nor would I recommend it. | ||

| Estaba alojado en una habitación de 4 personas, pequeñita, pero tenía lo justo que se necesita para pasar unos días, desayuno es café, cereales y las tostadas, limpieza cada día. Lo único que podrían mejorar es el ascensor que va muy lento, el resto me parece muy bien. Hostal esta muy bien ubicado, al lado de Ramblas. Lo recomendaría a todos. | ||

| En ünlü cadde Ra Lampla'ya yürüme 5 dk. yani merkezde, Hostelde bilgisayar ve internet var, rahatca kullanabiliyorsunuz, Odalarda da wi-fi var ama çok çekmeyebiliyor. Fiyat, konum ve kalite açısından iyi denilebilir. Yalnız hostele giderlen arada tüm Barcelonada olduğu gibi etrafınızı kontrol etmelisiniz zira yanınıza gelip dost gibi görünerek hırsızlık veya kapkaç yapmak isteyenler olabilir. Kahvaltı menüsü, kızarmış ekmek, tereyağ ve reçel bir de pasta türü bir kekleri var. | ||

| We lived on the first floor and it was pretty cold at night. The radiator wasn't effective. However the receptionist was friendly and helpful and he gave us extra blankets and went the extra mile to give us a 6-bed room to ourselves (4 girls). The showers did not work very well (we had to wait for at least 5 minutes before warm water came on). The sheets had a few stains but overall it was comfortable safe for the cold. The breakfast was satisfying. | ||

| Only stay here if you are simply looking for a place to sleep in the centre of Barcelona. For that purpose this hostel is brilliant... In every other regard it is lacking. Atmosphere none and staff fairly unhelpful and surly; anytime I spoke to them they seem to be annoyed I was cutting into their Facebook time. €2 for luggage storage (per bag!) is also an absolute joke. Don't come here if you're looking for a good time and a chance to meet people. | ||

| My daughter (9yrs) was unfortunately ill during our stay and the staff were very understanding and concerned. They certainly did not make a drama out of a crisis. Thank you to the staff on duty at that time. There was a bit of a down side in that unfortunately other people were noisey and not very conciderate towards others trying to sleep and the only time we could sleep soundly was after 4am. My husband had to go to a room twice after 2am to ask them to keep the noise down. | ||
