Hostel Details

Located at the heart of “Holstein Switzerland” between the lakes Dieksee and Kellersee, the health resort of Bad Malente-Gremsmühlen is ideal for walking and cycling. The “5 lake boat trip” and the “Kellersee boat trip” offer unforgettable experiences. Visit the nearby glass-blowing works or the “High-Wire Garden” in Bad Malente (not for the faint-hearted). If you like sandy beaches the coast is just 20km away.

The hostel’s four buildings are located on a peninsula in the Kellersee lake, surrounded by 16 acres of grounds with fields and apple trees, ideal for fun, games and relaxation.

Bus:	By car or coach: A1 (Hamburg-Lübeck), exit Eutin, or A7 (Hamburg-Flensburg), exit Neumünster-Wittorf, direction Plön; B404, exit Bargteheide.
Rail:	Train to Bad Malente via Hamburg-Lübeck-Kiel route or Hamburg-Neumünster-Kiel route. Hourly trains from Bad Malente to Kiel and Lübeck (35 – 40 min journey).
