| Generally a great place to stay. However please note limited on showers (one was out of order, another leaked out into the hall) so there can be a bit of a queue at peak morning times. | ||

| I cancelled the accommodation at Auckland long before we went, both by email & by phone. We needed to pick up a car from Auckland airport & the YHA was too far from the airport to stay .
thanks | ||

| YHAs are mostly focussed on young travellers, and provide real value for money for the dormitory crowd (which I appreciated more when I was in that crowd). Now, as a mature, budget-conscious traveller, I am begining to feel less welcome in this environment, and find there to be less value for money at the private double level. The central location usually is still the biggest factor. | ||

| Bed was too hard, but that's not really a complaint. Otherwise it was great. The staff were great. | ||
