Sellin is situated on the south-eastern resort coast of Rügen Island. The youth hostel is located in town by the coastal forest. For swimming, surfing and water sports you’ll find the sea 500m to the east and Lake Sellin in the opposite direction. At Mönchgut peninsula in the very south of the island there are several lookouts. The Baltic resort of Binz, Prora, Jasmund National Park, Cape Arkona, Putbus, Hiddensee and Stralsund are worth a visit too.

Directions

Bus:	From Stralsund take B96 and B196 to Sellin. Stay on B196 until Sellin Ost railway station, then turn left into Ostbahnstraße and then right into Kiefernweg.
Parking:	Carpark 150m (fee).
Rail:	Via Stralsund to Bergen/Rügen railway station or to the Baltic resort of Binz. Then take bus 20 or 24 to Sellin Ost, from there 50m walk to the hostel. Luggage transfer for groups available on request.
