DONG Cuo international youth hostel new opened in 2005,which was the leader’ private Dyeing-clothes house of Yellow hat sect.,also it is the first Tibetan style constuctional building and highest youth hostel in the world.Which is also the mormal member of YHA .It is situated in the busiest street behind the famous Jokhang monastery ,where is the previous commercial areal of the old centre city and nearby of the Potala Palace.
At the hostel, we have Housekeeping department(24-hour hot water,single rooms,double rooms,common two/three/four-bed rooms,korea bed rooms,dormtiory beds etc.);Food & Beverage bar;Travel agency department;Photography club;Ka-jie Bicycle club(for renting and best plateau-line);Mountain-climbing club;Self-kitchen;Free-laundry service and so on.Else we provide following services:Free-laundry,Book plane & train ticket,Leave message ,Travle information ,Burn CD/DVD ,International telephone bar(IDD),Internet bar,Fax, etc.

Way to hostel:
1)By air : After getting off the plane at the airport ,take the CAAC bus to the end in the centre of Lhasa city.Then take a Tricycle or Rig sho (4-5yuan) or taxi(10yuan) to the hostel.
2)By bus: Bus No.109,79,104,106,103 can arrive in ChongSai kang bus station,get off the bus ,walk 100metres to the east is our hostel.
3)By rail:After getting off the train,take the bus (No.89 or No.86) to lhasa city,then take a taxi (10.00yuan) to the hostl.Else ,about 15.00yuan/per person ,the taxi driver can send you to our hostel directly.
4)By taxi: In lhasa city anywhere,only charge 10yuan can take you directly to our hostel.
5)From the Potals palace:In fron of the Potala palace ,that is Beijing east road ,walk along to the east ,about 10minutes walk to our hostel.

from aiport ,you can take air bus to the centre of lhasa city,then take bus No.97,109,104 to the Chongsaikang bus station.then to the east 100metres .
Location:
our hostel in the center of old city,tha is bussiest street.the address is No.10 beijing east road of lhasa city ,tibet(2km to the east of Potala Palace),the opposite of Town Distirict Government.
Rail:
the train station is about 15km from the centre of lhasa city,about 16km from our hostel.after you get off the train ,you can take bus No.89 or No.86 to lhasa city,then take any taxi 10.00yuan to our hostel.else ,after you get off the train ,you can take any taxi (about 15.00yuan/per person) directly to our hostel. else ,we can arrange one car to pick up you ,50.00yuan/per time
