Fullerton hostel is located in northern Orange County about 25 miles from downtown Los Angeles, 35 miles from Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) and six miles from Anaheim (Disneyland, Disney's California Adventure, Anaheim Convention Center) and nine miles from Knott's Berry Farm (Buena Park).

The Los Angeles hostel offers an inexpensive, friendly place to use as a base for exploring northern Orange County's many tourist attractions. The Spanish-style house was once part of an old California dairy farm. Take advantage of the tours offered by a local tour operator to many of Southern California most popular attractions: Universal Studios, Hollywood, Los Angeles, and more.

Best in every respect. Friendly staff, clean homely stay made me conveniently overlook the slight location issue.. Enjoyable quiet natural surroundings, open spaces, made my stay more than worth it. Thanks to Ronda & her team. -Pratibha

Actually I booked twice in Portland by internet. So I also paid twice the booking diposits. first $3.71, second $1.20. My all diposit was $4.91. But when I arrived in Fullerton Hi hostel, the staff(Cyle) paid my room rates by my credit card just except $1.20. Like I arrived first time(23rd July)I wanted ask him about that but I made mistake my booking date so I didn't tell that. Actually Australian YHA was really correct about the room rates. But UAS was not. I think so. Other USA hostel also like that. You have to reform about that.

I came in at 11pm and every door was wide open, absolutely no safety, none of the doors lock.

2 baths for 20 guests is tough but manageable. Could use a single toilet/sink for those not needing a shower. Guests who complain about it being hot need to turn on the AC in their room. (dah!) TV hours don't start until 2 PM which seems odd to me when quiet time ends at 8 AM. If full, they may need more refrigerator space. Easy walk to grocery and bus. Bus can get you anywhere. Ample parking if you're driving. Thanks to Haley, Kyle, Sebastian and Alec.
