Part of the district capital and university town of Mittweida, Falkenhain is situated in the charming rambling and water sports area of the middle Zschopau valley, directly by the Kriebstein dam. The reservoir offers a lot of possibilities: walking, leisure and water sports. The town centres of Mittweida and Waldheim are worth a visit too. Falkenhain has many leisure facilities on offer. The youth hostel is in a quiet, green location, very close to the Kriebstein reservoir and offers relaxed fun for all tourists.
People of 27 years or over pay a surcharge of €3 per night.
Surcharge for single and twin rooms p. p. p. n. (subject to availability): Single: €10 Twin: €4 (doesn’t apply to group guides);
Rebate for children: Up to 2 years free of charge, 3 – 13 years 30% rebate;
Group rebate: For a group of 20 paying customers another one totally free (accommodation, sheets and meals at the YH).
