This hostel is at the center of the town just opposite to "White horse inn", one of the two pubs in the village. The stuff are extreamly helpful and friendly. Self service kitchen is very clean and we made full use of it. Breakfast also looked very good. There are number of working trails starts from car park. Hostel stuff helps with OS map and book. We did Dunkery beacon via Prescot ruins which was good 10-11 mile easy walk, all in all a quite and calm vacation out of hustle-bustle of the city. Beware you will not be able to catch mobile signal other than vodafone / Orange. Also public transport is non existant on saturdays and bank holidays which is bit of pain.
