| The location of this youth hostel is very close to Tegel (TXL) airport which is a very big advantage. It is a decent youth hostel,quiet, clean, comfortable. During my last 2 days there was a lot of noise from a group that came. They also smoked freely in the rooms and the lobby. It is too bad that the management did not do anything about it. | ||

| A fair distance from the city centre (though easily accessible by public transport, close to a suburban centre with shopping & restaurants & lovely walking tracks through forest) & popular with school groups. Not a 20-somethings party hostel, perfect for those that actually want to sleep. | ||

| If you have a rail pass, stay here. The s bahn trains to hermsdorf run all night and you can use your pass on them. However, beware of the 40 minute commute. Also, they charge for internet, which is always a bummer. It's in a really nice area. If you're out late in berlin, expect it to take over an hour to get back late at night. | ||
