From the hostel you will be able to access the best tours and excursions opportunities through our travel agency. 1) Backpackers to Las Nubes: we depart from Salta to go into the amazing Quebrada del Toro. We will stop for an interesting archeological trekking in Santa Rosa de Tastil, a pre-Inca town from the 13th century. We then carry on to San Antonio de los Cobres, following the winding route of the Tren de las Nubes (Clouds' Train), to approach the stunning Salinas Grandes. Along the route, we can see huge snowy peaks inhabited only by native fauna. Going back through the stunning Cuesta del Lipán, we get to Purmamarca to see the Cerro de los Siete Colores and cover the southern area of the Quebrada de Humahuaca, declared a World Heritage location by UNESCO. 2) Cachi: we leave Salta and going through the Quebrada de los Laureles and the stunning Quebrada de Escoipe, we arrive at the Cuesta del Obispo, where we will be able to see incredible views more than 3000 mts high. We stop for trekking in the Valle Encantado, and then, we go into Los Cardones National Park following an old Inca path, la Recta del Tin - Tin. Finally, we arrive at Cachi, a wonderful village that keeps the best secrets and customs of the ancient Calchaquíes valleys, hence named by the aboriginals that inhabited this region. 3) Cafayate: we leave the city of Salta, we go through the Lerma Valley all the way to Alemania, where we start to walk the incredible Quebrada de las Conchas, a magnificient landscape where the erosion has designed odd shapes in the red mountains. The Castles, the Amphitheater, La Garganta del Diablo, amongst others, will be recorded in your camera. When we arrive at Cafayate, we will visit its wineries, where we will enjoy the well known Salta wines. 4) Quebrada de Humahuaca: we leave towards the north, go through the city of San Salvador de Jujuy and go into the wonderful Quebrada de Humahuaca, declared a World Heritage location by UNESCO for preserving its great cultural legacy. Cerro de los Siete Colores, Pucará de Tilcara, archeological museums are some of the many attractions that we will explore in this wonderful gully.
