Hostel Details

Entirely built by the owner and his father, the castle is situated in a lush forest, on the shore of the Baie des Chaleurs, 500 m from the road and the seashore. A huge banquet hall is the main room. From your balcony, you'll be able to watch the amazing view on the turrets and the bay.

Breakfast is included in the overnight price. It is made of wildberry pancakes and mapple sirup. Music in the rooms. In the evening, we offer a candle dinner in the castle's main hall (very affordable gaspesian or acadian home-made cooking). A 5 km poetry trail goes through the woods and enables you to admire mother nature, while reading extracts of poems. Many other activities are available at or near the hostel, such as the Miguasha Park (UNESCO world heritage), the Restigouche Battle Park, the beaches, a hiking trail, kayaking and much more.
