Hostel Details

The spa town of Bad Brambach in the densely wooded low mountains of the Upper Vogtland (550m – 600m) has waters with a special composition and the highest radon concentration worldwide. It benefits from a mild sub-alpine brace climate which is ideal in complementing the therapeutic properties of the mineral water. At the heart of town are the spacious, well-kept gardens and the swan pond. The surroundings are characterized by traditional villages and unspoilt natural landscape with large wooded areas, undulating fields and valleys with numerous streams, crisscrossed by more than 80km of walking paths. This is also ideal cycling country. The youth hostel is situated in a quiet location on the fringes of the Bad Brambach gardens in the Röthenbachtal valley. People of 27 years or over pay a surcharge of €3 per night. Surcharge for single and twin rooms p. p. p. n. (subject to availability): Single: €10 Twin: €4 (doesn’t apply to group guides); Rebate for children: Up to 2 years free of charge, 3 – 13 years 30% rebate; Group rebate: For a group of 20 paying customers another one totally free (accommodation, sheets and meals at the YH).
