This YH is located in the mountain and you can see a lot of stars at night. Climbing Kuju range of mountains while watching azalea and taking an open-air bath at popular Kurokawa hot spring make you enjoy nature. When you cross Yamanami highway, which leads from Aso to Beppu, you can see an image of the Nirvana of Mt. Aso. Pick-up service from bus stop is available.

Directions
| Bus: | From Kumamoto sta take a Kyushu-odan-bus to Senomoto (2hrs 40min). Or from Beppu sta take a Kyushu-odan-bus to Senomoto (2hrs). Then 10min walk (600m) to YH. |
| Rail: | From JR Aso station, take a bus for Beppu for 45 minutes, and get off at Senomoto, and walk for 10 minutes. |
