A real find if you love the Lake District but not summer crowds. Arnside YHA is set in a large Edwardian house above Morecambe Bay which boasts great views of the Lake District mountains. It’s a good touring base for the Lakes and the Yorkshire Dales and there’s a variety of walks nearby. Birdwatchers will enjoy the RSPB reserve and butterfly lovers shouldn’t miss Arnside Knott. Enjoy good food in our comfortable, licensed restaurant.

| we would like to have a toilet and shower in the room. In the shower just above the stairs, there was no shower curtain and no showerhead. Maybe that is no good English, I mean where the water cames out. The food was very good | ||

| Very nice but kitchen wasn't always cleaned but in fairness hostellers are supposed to clean up after themselves. A lot didn't in the 4 days that I was there.. Great friendly staff | ||
