This hostel should be removed from Hostelling International: - Staff at the reception does not speak any English - very difficult to communicate, although we had our reservation printed out. - We planned to stay there two days after our arrival in Jordan and one night upon departure. The two-day-stay was okay (especially because it was cheap), although we did not get any breakfast (although it said so on our reservation) and our 2 Euro deposit was not acknowledged. The one-night-stay, however, did not happen at all! Although we had a printed out reservation and already paid a deposit, we faced a closed gate!!! The security staff told us in his few English words that the owner of the hostel was "on holiday". - The hostel is a 15-minute taxi-ride from downtown. In downtown we had a twin room for just 10 euros, much better than the HI hostel!!! - The closed hostel was especially annoying because I bought a 25-euro membership for HI extra for this trip!!!

I did not stay at this hostel, because Fly Dubai cancelled my flight ticket to Amman because of the unrest situation in the Middle East. I mailed the hostel 7 days before the time. They took my deposit instead of refunding it.
