Now this is one of the most popular Youth Hostels in the summer. Just a few kilometres away from Zambujeira do Mar where the annual Southwest Music Festival happens - the Youth Hostel of Almograve is also close to a number of beaches, within the Parque Natural do Sudoeste Alentejano e da Costa Vicentina nature reserve. Here you can do surfing, bodyboarding and other sea sports. In the winter, all you need is a group of friends, a guitar and/or a surfboard for the fun to continue.
Part adventure, in Almograve, enjoys its quiet odd, a village in the Alentejo coast. In the middle of Natural Park of Southwest Alentejo and Costa Vicentina, you can be in touch with nature at its most virgin, noting the richness of its fauna and flora. You have the sea 800 meters from the hostel, so can you join the business with pleasure. While there, go to the beach, diving, surfing, bodyboarding, fishing, mountain biking, hiking or horseback. Do not forget, the festival of the Southwest, is already there! Cape Sardão, this is a heavenly place that unites the landscape land and sea. The sea breeze will make you dream and forget worries, raids and bad provisions. The beauty and absolute peace would "compel you "to an introspection, an abandonment of all, to demand an easy happiness. Forget the time. Do everything to keep pace with soaring of a bird. Prime location for watching seabirds such as: Gannet, peregrine falcon, merlin, blackbird, blue, white stork, petinha-throat-haired, rosy starling, among others.

| The staff in the kitchen, with breakfast was unprofessional and not friendly. All other personel was very friendly. The breakfast was very small; we had little choice. | ||
