Welcome to the most southest hostal in Sweden!
The old lighthouse-keeper's house has 9 rooms (summertime 11 rooms) and a kitchen for self-service. We also serve breakfast during summer. Part of the house is adjusted for people with a physical handicap. In the old foghornhouse groups (max 25 pers.) are welcome for meetings and conferences. Here we also have artexhibitions and evenings with music and lyrics.
In the surroundings there is a garden for play and recreation, the breeze of the sea and of course the lighthouse with an amazing view from the top. Nereby you can visit "the southest peak of Sweden", with the old fishingharbour, smokehouse and café. In the summertime you will find touristinformation, exibitions and handicrafts here. In the village, a kilometer away, there are a restaurant, and shops.
Smygehuk lighthouse, built in 1883, is a 17 m high tower, built of iron. After being off for 25 years came on the back in 2001 and now guides yatchs and local fishermen around the cape.
