HOSTAL DEL CIELO is located at the end of the village, on the way to "Viaducto de la Polvorilla". It is a hostel built with the help of youngsters from San Antonio, under a NGO´s program. In this area it is normal to speak of 4000 mts above sea level. The hostel is sorrounded by high mountains and... THE SKY!!!

Hostal del Cielo is an ideal starting point for long walks, programmed climbings and unforgettable climbings. You can add to this the archeologic wealth of the area, where the ancestors of the current inhabitants carved their messages on the stones or communicated thorugh geoglyphs. We have highly qualified guides that know every path, every mountain that were witnessed to their births since all of them are guides from San Antonio de los Cobres. They have provided important collaboration to the archeologists of MAAM (High Mountain Archeology Museum) at the last scientific climbing to the summit of the LLULLAILLACO Volcano, at 6739 mts above sea level. Our hostel is equipped with the adequate logistic and infrastructure for your excursion to the High Mountain or to the journey to the endless salt flats. We have maps and we can provide transport for any excursion. At Hostal del Cielo you will be able to know the warmth of an ancient culture and the respect for nature that it is surrounding you and the rituals and believes that we will take you to discover.
