The country house has a traditional native style design, and has 12 double and triple rooms beautifully designed and decorated. All of them have private bathroom, ceiling fan and mosquito net. The restaurant and the main lounge are located in a spacious log cabin with thatched roof called "churuata", with a spectacular view of the Orinoco River. In order to guarantee a pleasant stay, we offer a package that includes transfer, accommodation and excursions to Puerto Ayacucho, especially to the indian market and the museum, "la Piedra de la Tortuga" (the Rock´s Tortoise), with two enormous black granite rocks, 8 km of handycrafts south of Puerto Ayacucho, "el Tobogán de la Selva" (the Jungle´s Slide), a 80 metres long natural colour slide of the water, "la Piedra Pintada" (the Painted Rock), which is a big rock with precolombian symbols, the Guajibo Island, a full day boat trip to the indian village of Curripaco. Since the border is nearby, we offer trips to Colombia, one of the most impressive is the visit to El Tuparro National Park. For those who love adventure, we also recommend the boat trip trough the Orinoco River rapids and longer trips to the southern region of the Amazonas.
