| More a hotel than hostel.Nice and clean. Very little chance of meeting other travellers, which is what hostelling is about. Would have preferred an area to do our own meal prep ; even a kettle to make a brew and sit and chat. Not much to do after hours, unless a trip back into the city. Top city by the way! | ||

| I found Pension Beta a bit of a disappointment. It's situated underneath a motorway flyover, between a railway line and a busy street tramway, so noise at nightime was a problem. The rooms seemed to vary in quality too - mine on the top floor had no windows but just two skylights, so the room got immensely hot and stuffy, while my friend's room on the second floor had windows and a TV! The room next to mine also had an en-suite bathroom, which my room lacked. Having said that, the beds were made up every day, the place was cleaned well, and the staff were welcoming. | The location is quite far from city center but by tram is ok. They cancelled my reservation due to some unknown reason and they discussed for a long time over this issue and finally realized it's their own mistake and let me wait for about 20 min which was quite inefficiency. | Very friendly staff and nice rooms. It might seem far from the city center but it's actually close and nicer to stay out of the most touristy parts. | ||
