The Moconesi Hostel is situated in a green and silent countryside, 25km from Genova on the road leading to Chiavari through the Ligurian Inland of Fontanabuona Valley.

| Nice hostel albeit slightly out the way. Cute restuarant in Ferrada. Check bus times and the stops from Chiavari as they change places!! | ||

| This was the first time I stayed at a hostel, didn't know what to expect. We were very impressed. There were five of us and we had our own room. Showers and bathrooms were very close to our room and the room locked so we felt safe and could leave our things during the day. The only bad thing was finding the hostel the first night. We found the directions very confusing and just kept stoping and asking for directions. Once we were there we had no problems coming and going. | ||

| The hostel was hard to find. Road signs weren't very visible.
The man running the place (off season) was a "one man show" and seemed at times overwhelmed with the task.
The hostel doesn't seem to be fully operational yet.
I had no hot water in the shower.
The whole place had an institutional feel about it. | ||
