Hostel Details

Playas del Sur Hostel - Mar del Plata is located at the sea front, on the Interbalnearia Route 11, a stone throw from the beaches at the south of the city, surrounded by stunning cliffs in a great and natural environment, few metres from La Paloma and Luna Roja beaches, excelente breakpoints to practice surfing and other water sports. Playas del Sur is an ideal place if you are looking for peace to relax, to practice sports or to be in touch with nature. We have double rooms, 3-bedded and shared rooms for 4/6 people, all of them with private bathroom. All our guests can enjoy our common areas, multipurpose rooms with TV, DVD, fully equipped kitchen, park with BBQ and a solarium. The reception service works 24 hours and our multilingual staff are always ready to assist you and to give you all the information about the city, so you can discover it and fully enjoy it.

Opening times

Opening times (daily/weekly):	The hostel is opened 24 hs for those with a booking. Those without a booking can check in until 9.00pm.
Opening times (over the year):	Open from 15th December to 28th February.

Directions

Bus:	At the Omnibus terminal, take the Empresa Rápido del Sur service which destination is the town of Miramar. Get off at the Barrio Playa de los Lobos stop. The journey takes about 30 minutes. You´d better ask the Omnibus´s driver to let you know where to get off. Once you are out of the bus, walk 200 mts along Costanera Avenue and from there you will see the hostel.
Parking:	The hostel is located in an almost rural area. You can leave the car in our outdoor parking without any problem.
Location:	The hostel is located 9.5 km south of the lighthouse, on the Interbalnearia Route 11 in front of the sea, in the Barranca de los Lobos, that rises 25 mts above the sea level. By car (20 minutes) from the city center to Mar del Plata. Leaving the city of Mar del Plata, along the South Coast Promenade and about 9.5 km away. South of the lighthouse, on the Interbalnearia Route 11, after Playa de los Lobos neighbourhood, in front of Barranca de los Lobos.
Airport:	The best option to get there is by taxi, that costs about $AR60. The best thing to do is ask how much will it be before boarding the taxi.
