Set by the Hohe Tauern National Park, the hostel lies at the foot of Mount Grossglockner and next to the village´s atmospheric church. Mountain climbing, hiking, skiing and nature watching are just some of the activities here. It is the first time I can live in a dorm with only one bed with bathroom! It's 5 minutes' walk to town centre and bus station. Good breakfast. I visited during the summer, which is their slow season, so the hostel had relatively few visitors. I found the staff to be very accommodating, and would highly recommend the hostel. Hostel response: Thank you for your nice words. Would be glad to see you again. Best wishes!

The price was not the same as the hihostels.com Hostel response: We are sorry you had a bad surprise. You had to pay the overnight fee that is not included in the price on hostelling international but it is specified that this fee is to be paied by arrival. Hope you although enjoied our hostel. The price that i got on the place was different from the internet. they charge me more 7 Euro. no elevator so i need to take my heavy suitcase by myself for 3 floors. the pillow was uncomfortable The place is beutifull Hostel response: Dear Eldad, We are sorry that the price was not the same as on the website.If you are not a member of hostelling international you have to pay an extra surcharge. Unfortunatelly we don´t have an elevator in our house, but we are sure that wasn´t that heavy to carry the luggage on the 2. floor. We hope to see you again. Best wishes!
