HI Hyannis, voted “Friendliest” and runner up for “Best HI Hostel in the WORLD” in 2010, is the newest of the Cape Cod hostel. Private rooms for two and four persons are available, as well as, coed dorms. There is a fully equipped kitchen to prepare your meals and dining area. Breakfast, wifi access and parking are all free. All bed linens and a bath towel are included in the overnight rate.
Only steps from downtown, the hostel’s location could not be more ideal: across the street from the Hyannis ferry docks, steps to the free Hyannis trolley shuttle, less than a mile to the Hyannis bus station and within easy walking distance to museums, main street shops, beaches and other local historical, recreational and cultural attractions.
Hostelling International is a non-profit, membership based organization. Non-members may purchase a daily membership for $3 or an annual membership at the hostel. All guests must present a government issued photo ID (Passport, Driver's License, Identity Card) at check in and be 18 years or older, unless accompanied by a parent or guardian.
Please note that the maximum stay policy is 7 nights per calendar year.

Directions
| Bus: | For bus service, take the Plymouth and Brockton Bus from South Station in Boston and get off at the Hyannis Transportation Center. From New York City and Providence RI, take the Peter Pan Bus to the Hyannis Transportation Center. Local bus service to the Transportation Center is also available from Falmouth/Woods Hole, Eastham/Orleans, and Truro/Provincetown. It is a 0.4 mi walk from the Hyannis Transportation Center to the hostel (see map below). You can follow the sidewalk from point A south directly to the intersection of Main St., Center St. and Old Colony Rd (despite the map route shown). From there, continue on Old Colony Rd to Ocean St. Or, catch the free Hyannis Trolley to the Ocean Street ferry docks(seasonal service only - check website for details) and walk across the street to the Hostel. |

| It is a smaller hostel with limited check-in hours. Most people stay a night here on their way to Nantucket or Martha's Vineyard. Town and the harbor are walk-able from the hostel. Not sure about the bus station. I drove from Boston. | ||
